Like the bank accounts, finding a mobile carrier and phone was a lot more complicated than we thought it would be.  In the U.S., we knew the reputations of the different carriers, and as an iPhone user, the choices were always very simple for me (do I want the regular sized one or the big one?)

Here, we had to do a ton of research about each of the various different mobile carriers, and then we had to begin the daunting task of choosing a phone.  Unlike the U.S., where you can get a nice phone at a fairly reasonable price, here, you pay through the nose for the latest iPhone.

After visits to five different stores and hours of internet research, we finally picked a phone.  It is so great to finally have a local number!
